- Ve Exhaust Velocity - The effective exhaust velocity
- m0 Initial Mass - Total mass including propellant.
- m1 Final Mass - Mass with no Propellant

Exhaust Velocity is measured in speed (such as m/s) and is the speed at which the exhaust leaves the rocket.
